The recipient signs in and redeems the code to add the amount to their wallet. Then they choose a therapist and use it to pay for a session. Their choice stays private.

What you and the person receiving your gift need to know.

How does the recipient redeem the gift card?
They sign in or create a free GoTherapy account and enter the code in their wallet. The gift card amount is added to their balance, ready to use for sessions.

Can it be used with any therapist?
Yes, it can pay for online or in-person GoTherapy sessions with any verified therapist in the country where the gift card was purchased.

What if the session costs more or less?
If the wallet balance does not cover the session, the recipient pays the difference. Any unused balance stays in their wallet for future sessions, subject to the gift card’s validity terms.

How long is a gift card valid?
Check the validity terms when buying your gift card. If an expiry date applies, it is shown in the gift card details. Check it before buying or using the card.

Will I know which therapist they see?
No. We do not tell the buyer which therapist the recipient chooses or when their sessions take place. Those details stay private.

Can I get a refund?
Contact us with your order details to request a refund. We will review your request under the terms that apply to your gift card.
